Community Service Officer
The Village of Lincolnshire is accepting applications for the
position of Community
Service Officer in the Police Department. This is a replacement
position.
Responsibilities may include: directing traffic;
answering requests for information or
referring questions to appropriate staff; assisting in the Telecommunications
Center;
transferring evidence to and from the crime lab; conducting house
watch and building
checks; assisting in the booking of prisoners including fingerprinting,
photographing, and
completing arrest paperwork; performing activities related to
animal control and animal control ordinances; investigating and
reporting private property vehicle crashes; patrolling
village to observe violations of local ordinance and issuing
citations when appropriate; and
assisting in Police Records.
Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma or G.E.D.
or a combination of
education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the
essential duties of the job.
Work hours will primarily be dayshift, but alternative scheduling
may be necessary from
time to time for special events or projects.
Starting salary for this position is $45,303. The
Village of Lincolnshire also offers an

The Village of Lincolnshire has an opening for a Environmental
Services Supervisor. Responsibilities include managing grant and funding requests,
natural resource management, Village gardens and entrance plantings,
waste and recycling collection, parks planning and renovation,
forestry, and recreation programming.
Bachelor degree in environmental studies, forestry, recreation,
or related field; ISA Certified Arborist or ability to obtain certification
within six months of employment. Minimum of five years experience
in managing a natural area or dedicated nature preserve. Experience
in recreation programming and administration or environmental issues
preferred. Salary range is $57,991 - $80,842.
